Ramona waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They never let the Jurupa Valley Jaguars get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 back in March.

Not much got past Kaytlin Stephens, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Jurupa Valley off the board. Stephens has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ramona let Kylie Guzman and Olivia Chavez run wild. Guzman went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Chavez went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Emily Gonzalez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.

Ramona's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jurupa Valley, they moved to 10-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Ramona will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
