Game recap: Hillcrest High School Football Team tops Rock Hill

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. - Special teams carried Hillcrest (Simpsonville, S.C.) to a 41-14 victory over Rock Hill (S.C.) on Saturday as the return units contributed two touchdowns. The special teams of the Rams scored on a kick return and a punt return.

Hillcrest led 13-6 at halftime, but the Bearcats regained the lead on a kick return touchdown by Kl-jana Madden with 11:00 to go in the third.

HHS expanded its lead to 13 points entering the fourth quarter. The Simpsonville school scored two times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by Madden.

A 14-point fourth quarter was enough to cement the win for the Rams, as they pushed the final margin of victory to 27.

Hillcrest had given up an average of 13.4 points prior to the contest.
