Baseball Recap: Clover Find Success

While Clover put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Broome. The Clover Blue Eagles came out on top against the Broome Centurions by a score of 5-0. The Blue Eagles have beaten the Centurions the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Centurions has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Logan Satter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Clover's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Broome, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clover will host Southside Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Broome, they will be playing in front of their home fans against York at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
