Softball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Triumphs

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Copper Basin Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cougars on Tuesday, they had to take a 9-1 loss.

JYLIAN HARBIN spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on AUBRY MCCLAIN, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs. Those runs were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was TORI WILLIAMS, who went 3-for-4 with three runs.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' victory bumped their record up to 15-4-1. As for Copper Basin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

As of now, neither Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
