Basketball Recap: Leflore Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wister, Leflore was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 41-36 win over the Gans Grizzlies. This was a revenge game for the Savages: when they faced off against the Grizzlies back in December of 2025, they had to take a 51-44 defeat.

Leflore is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season. As for Gans, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Leflore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-49 loss against Buffalo Valley on the 10th. As for Gans, they will face off against McCurtain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
