Basketball Game Preview: Kennett Eagles vs. Stark Generals

The Kennett Eagles will challenge the Stark Generals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennett has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Stark will come in with three straight wins.

Last Friday, Kennett took a blow against Hollis-Brookline, falling 81-54.

Meanwhile, Stark won against Souhegan on Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Stark beat Souhegan by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 56-53.

Stark's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-9. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three points across that stretch. As for Kennett, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Kennett took their win against Stark in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 66-40. Will Kennett repeat their success, or does Stark have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
