Meanwhile, Ogallala suffered their closest defeat since December 31, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Broken Bow by a score of 50-47. Ogallala has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ogallala's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Gothenburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-2.

Everything came up roses for Gothenburg against Ogallala in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-21 victory. Will Gothenburg repeat their success, or does Ogallala have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
