League recap: Fallon powers Park Ridge with hot hitting week

North Jersey - Patriot B league recap: 5/29/12

Ryan Fallon was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .500 average with six RBIs. His Park Ridge team went 2-1.

The Owls went from 7195 to 6581 in the national rankings since last week after going 2-1 in the past seven days. Park Ridge is currently sitting at No. 184 in the state of New Jersey, thanks to an overall record of 18-8.

The Owls' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 23 hits and 17 walks, both of which led the league. On the season, Park Ridge has allowed just 180 hits, while striking out 128 batters. Peter Masterson leads Park Ridge with 45 strikeouts in 45 innings pitched.

Ryan Bartz led the league with six hits this week for the Owls. On the season, he's hitting .383 and ranks third in the league with 31 hits.
