Basketball Game Preview: Provo Bulldogs vs. American Heritage Patriots + Official Tickets

The Provo Bulldogs will face off against the American Heritage Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

American Heritage will be up against a hot Provo team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Bulldogs strolled past Brighton with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-44. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the (much) better team in the second half.

Provo had a senior duo take command as Callen Tollestrup shot 50% from the field en route to 28 points and seven boards and Makai Allen went 8-for-18 to rack up 20 points and eight rebounds. Tollestrup's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Castagnetto, who posted five points and five boards.

Provo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. They are 3-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask American Heritage). They secured a 77-71 W over Draper APA on Wednesday.

Provo now has a winning record of 4-3. As for American Heritage, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Provo beat American Heritage 79-69 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
