Volleyball Recap: Sanger's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sanger waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sanger West Hornets.

Sanger never let Sanger West on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22, 25-16.

Sanger West lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tizoc Cruz, who had eight assists and seven digs. Jesiah Gallardo also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 14-5. As for Sanger West, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Sanger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rancho San Juan on the 28th. As for Sanger West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Central Catholic on the 29th.
