 The Prosper Eagles came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let Guyer onto the board and left with a  2-0  win. Given Prosper's advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings  (they are ranked second, while Guyer is ranked 39th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Prosper was led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Lucas Tauzin and 
 Hayden Crotts, who scored both of Prosper's goals.  Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
 Prosper's victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 25  goals over those six  games. As for Guyer, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-2 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prosper is on the road again  on Friday and plays Rock Hill at 6:00  p.m.  on February 23rd. Rock Hill's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Guyer, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Little Elm at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
