Basketball Recap: Tom Bean's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Tom Bean needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Sam Lind. The Tom Bean Tomcats skirted past the Wolfe City Wolves 41-39 thanks in part to Lind, who posted 11 points along with eight assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Jones, who put up nine points in addition to five boards and three steals. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for five straight games.

Tom Bean's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10. As for Wolfe City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Tom Bean will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Whitewright at 7:00 p.m. As for Wolfe City, they will challenge Bland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wolfe City surely won't give up without a fight.
