Softball Recap: Central A & M Takes a Loss

Central A & M and LeRoy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Central A & M had to settle for second. They lost 13-2 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Central A & M saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lyndi Woods, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Woods has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Central A & M's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for LeRoy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Central A & M nor LeRoy have any future games scheduled.
