Football Game Preview: West Stanly Colts vs. Forest Hills Yellow Jackets + Official Tickets

The West Stanly Colts will head out to take on the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Stanly has given up an average of 31.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Stanly is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They were dealt a 56-7 defeat at the hands of Monroe. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Redhawks are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Forest Hills came up short against Mount Pleasant last Friday and fell 21-14. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Forest Hills took the loss, they still got scores from Kylan Polk and Cam Winnegan.

Having lost for the first time this season, Forest Hills fell to 6-1. As for West Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

West Stanly suffered a grim 35-9 defeat to Forest Hills in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Colts were down 28-3.
