It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Delta can now relate to. They fell just short of the Velma Jackson Falcons by a score of 57-55 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since December 28, 2023.

When it comes to explaining why South Delta lost, don't look at Justin Stamps. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 19 points and 17 boards. Stamps is becoming a predictor of South Delta's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 2-1 (and 8-14 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Takoryan Bee, who posted 11 points and six boards.

South Delta's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Velma Jackson, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-8.
