Soccer Game Preview: Colebrook Academy vs. Lisbon

The Colebrook Academy Mohawks will face off against the Lisbon Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colebrook Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Colebrook Academy is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Gorham on Friday. Neither the Mohawks nor the Huskies could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Lisbon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Huskies.

Lisbon's win bumped their record up to 8-6-1. Colebrook Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 9-5-1.

Colebrook Academy beat Lisbon 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September. Do the Mohawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
