Basketball Recap: Cedar Springs Takes a Loss

Cedar Springs lost against Coopersville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cedar Springs Red Hawks took a 47-30 bruising from the Coopersville Broncos. The contest marked the Red Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Cedar Springs dropped their record down to 6-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Coopersville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Cedar Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-45 defeat against Forest Hills Eastern on the 20th. Coopersville has also already played their next match (against Lowell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
