Softball Recap: Bethel Jaguars vs. Hercules Titans
Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 20-10 to the Hercules Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 18-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lily Fjellman and Dakari Washington stepped up to the plate in a big way. Fjellman scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4, while Washington scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Washington has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Shanette Marshall, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Looking ahead, Bethel will square off against Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethel has given up an average of 20.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Hercules, they will challenge Vallejo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Vallejo has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.13 runs per game on average), something Hercules will no doubt try to take advantage of.
