Basketball Recap: Lutheran West Comes Up Short

Lutheran West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Tuslaw Mustangs 55-13. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 51st).

Lutheran West's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Tuslaw, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Lutheran West will be home for the holidays to greet St. Joseph Academy at 1:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Tuslaw, they will head out on the road to challenge Fairless at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
