Soccer Recap: James F. Byrnes Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

It's playoff time, and James F. Byrnes had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes on Tuesday as they made off with a 5-1 win. The score was close at halftime, but James F. Byrnes pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit Dutch Fork with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tori Segarra (2), Autumn Shetley, Addison Watson, and Saige Peterson.

James F. Byrnes has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Dutch Fork, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Coming up, James F. Byrnes will venture away from home to face off against Mauldin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mauldin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something James F. Byrnes surely won't give up without a fight. Dutch Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
