Basketball Recap: Princeton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Princeton lost to Oak Hills back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Princeton Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 victory over the Oak Hills Highlanders. The 43-point effort marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Oak Hills' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brady Keeton, who posted 11 points, and Henry Maginn, who put up 11 points.

The win (which was Princeton's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Oak Hills, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-43 victory against Sycamore on the 14th. Oak Hills has also already played their next game, a 46-29 win against Colerain on the 14th.
