Basketball Recap: Appleton City Takes a Loss

Appleton City was the 56-35 winner over Osceola when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Appleton City Bulldogs fell 52-40 to the Osceola Indians on Saturday.

Grace Colby was a one-woman wrecking crew for Osceola as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Bella Hamby, who posted 12 points.

Appleton City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Osceola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Appleton City has already played their next game (against Drexel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Osceola will face off against Rich Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
