 Birch Run was the  5-4 winner over Garber when they last played one another  on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Birch Run Panthers took  a  5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garber Dukes on Monday.
 For Garber's part,  Kara Kotenko spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on five hits. Kotenko has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
