Football Recap: Ellwood Christian Falls to Lafayette in First Game of Season

Ellwood Christian had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 51-6 loss at the hands of the LaFayette Bulldogs. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellwood Christian will face off against Zion Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for LaFayette, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
