Soccer Recap: Shafter Comes Up Short

Shafter managed to keep up with Delano until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Shafter Generals lost 4-0 to the Delano Tigers. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shafter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-3. As for Delano, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shafter has already played their next contest (against Chavez), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Delano is taking a road trip to face off against Wasco at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wasco will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Delano surely won't give up without a fight.
