It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Shady Spring had no problem doing just that on Monday. They put the hurt on the Ripley Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won seven matches in a row.
One reason for the win was Shady Spring's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-13.
Alivia Stover paced Shady Spring's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stover got some help from Reagan Mann and her 18 assists. Mann also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bryanna Shrewsberry, each putting up two.
