Basketball Recap: La Grange Takes a Loss

La Grange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 58-48 to the Bandera BULLDOGS, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-48 on Monday.

La Grange's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Bandera, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Grange will host Giddings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. La Grange is facing Giddings at the right time seeing as Giddings is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Bandera, they will be playing at home against Fredericksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bandera's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
