Basketball Recap: Calumet Takes a Loss

Calumet lost against Arnett back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Calumet Chieftains had to suffer through a 64-27 loss at the hands of the Arnett Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Wildcats are ranked 33rd).

Calumet's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Arnett, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

While Calumet had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
