In what's become a running theme this season, the American Prep WV Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They blew past Wasatch Academy 41-13 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win American Prep WV has posted yet this season.
American Prep WV's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicole Tran, who scored 11 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Tran grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leticia Calderon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
American Prep WV's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.67 points. As for Wasatch Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
American Prep WV will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockwell will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Wasatch Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Intermountain Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 two weeks ago.
