Leading Franklin Academy to victory were Japitpaul Makkar and Alexandre Louis. Makkar scored 16 points along with 4 steals, while Louis scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Goddette, who scored 15 points.
Somerset Academy Central Miramar has fallen quite a ways from their 6-1 record last season and are now at 1-3. As for Franklin Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
