Long Beach Poly has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jordan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Jackrabbits will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. Long Beach Poly will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Long Beach Poly proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Carson 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jackrabbits have posted since May 24, 2025.
Meanwhile, Jordan gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 21-12 margin over Century.
Angelina Castro made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Michelle Hernandez was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Cassandra Rubio was another key player, going 2-for-6 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Jordan lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Long Beach Poly's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Long Beach Poly got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Jordan by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Jackrabbits have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
