Volleyball Recap: Nipmuc Regional Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Nipmuc Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Beavers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Blackstone Valley RVT scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Nipmuc Regional found their leader in sophomore Maya Vercruysse, who had 19 digs and four aces. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Vercruysse.

Nipmuc Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Nipmuc Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Hopedale on the 17th. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Millbury on the 17th.
