Soccer Game Preview: Seattle Christian vs. Chimacum

The Seattle Christian Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Chimacum Cowboys at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Chimacum will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Seattle Christian extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. Everything went the Warriors' way against Annie Wright as they made off with a 5-1 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Seattle Christian's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Annie Wright are ranked 251st).

Meanwhile, Chimacum kept a clean sheet against Charles Wright on Thursday. They blew past the Tarriers 5-0. That's two games straight that Chimacum have won by exactly five goals.

Chimacum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Seattle Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-3.
