Herriman is 9-1 against Riverton since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Silverwolves at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Herriman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Bingham, who was ranked 24th at the time (Herriman was ranked 20th). The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Miners on Thursday. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Miners on their court since September 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, Riverton earned a 3-1 win over Westlake on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Silverwolves in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won three in a row.

Riverton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 31-33, 25-13, 25-19, 25-14.

Herriman better keep an eye on Bryn Nielsen. She was instrumental in Riverton's win, getting 11 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Nielsen has posted over her last six matchups. Lizzie Taylor also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Riverton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.

Herriman's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Riverton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
