Volleyball Recap: Olathe East Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Olathe East extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-4. They lost 3-0 to the Shawnee Mission East Lancers. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Lancers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Shawnee Mission East, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Shawnee Mission East found their leader in sophomore Jessie Hill, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Hill.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Olathe East will take on rival Mill Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shawnee Mission East is set to face off against their familiar foe Shawnee Mission Northwest on Thursday.
