Football Recap: Carlyle Takes a Loss

Carlyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Seneca Fighting Irish 48-13. While losing is never fun, the Indians/Lady Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 99th).

Carlyle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Seneca, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

As of now, neither Carlyle nor the Fighting Irish have any future games scheduled.
