Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hartford). They put the hurt on the Lawrence Tigers with a sharp 14-7 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Hartford's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Lawrence, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hartford will square off against rival White Pigeon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lawrence is set to take on their familiar foe Bangor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
