Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Troy

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Williamson Warriors. While losing is never fun, Troy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 570th, while Williamson are ranked 169th).

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Williamson, they have kept their early-season momentum rolling, opening the year 7-1-1 after taking seven of their first nine contests.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Troy will take on their in-conference opponent Wellsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Williamson is set to challenge their familiar foe Northeast Bradford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
