Baseball Recap: Pelahatchie Comes Up Short

Puckett hit Pelahatchie with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Chiefs came up short against the Wolves, falling 12-1. The Chiefs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Pelahatchie and nudges their season record down to 6-10-1. As for Puckett, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

While Pelahatchie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
