Soccer Recap: Tartan Takes a Loss

Tartan lost against Mahtomedi back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Zephyrs. While losing is never fun, Tartan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Mahtomedi are ranked 22nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Tartan and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Mahtomedi, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Tartan will take on South St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mahtomedi, they will face off against Shakopee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
