McHenry has gone a perfect 4-0 against Marian Central Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will take on the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. McHenry's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Marian Central Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

McHenry hadn't beaten Jacobs on the road since April 26, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Warriors came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 11-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Marian Central Catholic was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell 4-1 to Johnsburg. Hurricanes fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Skyhawks since on Monday.

Marian Central Catholic got a good showing from Isaiah Flores, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Flores hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March.

On the hitting side, Adam Wrzos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

McHenry's win bumped their record up to 24-4-1. As for Marian Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.

McHenry took their victory against Marian Central Catholic in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
