A busy weekend of high school basketball action was highlighted by eleven MaxPreps Top 25 ranked teams taking the floor.
Headlining games Friday night were No. 7 Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, Minn.) running past Duluth East (Duluth, Minn.) 77-36 behind 21 points from top-ranked senior
Chet Holmgren; No. 13 Ypsi Prep Academy (Ypsilanti, Mich.) knocking off SPIRE Institute (Geneva, Ohio) 52-40 despite playing without top-ranked junior
Emoni Bates and No. 21 Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) defeating previously unbeaten Mater Academy Charter (Hialeah Gardens, Fla.) 76-67 behind 22 points for junior forward

Another game of note on Friday note was No. 15 Lawrence North (Indianapolis) vs. North Central (Indianapolis) as the top-ranked team from the Hoosier State was forced to overcome a six point deficit entering the fourth quarter to pick up their eighth win by five points or less this season with a 64-60 comeback victory.
The win set up a highly anticipated unbeaten Hoosier State showdown that saw Homestead (Fort Wayne, Ind.) knock off No. 15 Lawrence North 65-60 in an overtime thriller. The Spartans move to 16-0 on the year behind 27 points from junior guard
Fletcher Loyer.
Other notable results on Saturday included Westminster Christian (Miami, Fla.) pulling out a 59-46 upset victory over No. 21 Calvary Christian Academy, while No. 22 Atascocita (Humble (Texas) remained unbeaten after fending off comeback efforts to come out with a 53-51 victory over Summer Creek (Houston).
Sunday evening featured a pair of games showcasing MaxPreps Top 25 programs as No. 5 DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) notched a signature 73-56 win over Ohio power St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio) and No. 13 Ypsi Prep Academy cruised past First Love Christian Academy (Washington, Pa.) 73-46.
