Football Recap: Washington Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Washington extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were outmatched by the Steilacoom Sentinels and fell 39-0. The Patriots lost against the Sentinels in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 42-35 score last time.

As for Steilacoom, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average this season.

Steilacoom's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Titus Kaeka, who threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Jaleo Johnson also helped with two scores in total.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Washington is set to take on their familiar foe Fife at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Steilacoom will square off against rival Clover Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
