In other batting news, Tanner Roberts was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Elam Faust was another key player, earning one RBI, two runs, and four stolen bases.
Lynchburg-Clay hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.
