Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Covenant Day). They blew past the Davidson Day Patriots 5-2 on Thursday. It was an even better day for Chayce Johnson as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory was the third in a row for Covenant Day, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Davidson Day, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Day will square off against Providence Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davidson Day, they will welcome Forsyth Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
