Soccer Recap: Becker Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Becker was not quite Zimmerman's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Becker have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Becker and nudges their season record down to 4-6-2. As for Zimmerman, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-6-1.

Coming up, Becker will face off against Willmar at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Zimmerman, they will challenge Sauk Rapids-Rice at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
