Basketball Recap: Travis Comes Up Short

Travis extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 6-13. They took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lago Vista Vikings. The Rebels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in January of 2025.

As for Lago Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games.

Dylan Stovall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6-for-10 to rack up 24 points and six rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Cash Schiller, who posted five points.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Travis will take on rival Austin Achieve at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lago Vista is set to face off against their familiar foe Manor New Tech at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
