Softball Recap: Kress Comes Up Short

Kress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-5 to the Claude Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-5 on Thursday.

Kress' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Claude, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kress will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lubbock T at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Claude, they will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
