There's no place like home for Tippecanoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bellefontaine Chieftains an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Tippecanoe might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Bellefontaine from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cameron Smith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Tippecanoe pushed their record up to 14-1-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those nine contests. As for Bellefontaine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Tippecanoe will host Greenville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tippecanoe will be up against Greenville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 13.19 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Bellefontaine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
