Basketball Game Preview: Seneca East Tigers vs. Mohawk Warriors

The Seneca East Tigers will challenge the Mohawk Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seneca East came up short against Colonel Crawford on Saturday, falling 54-32. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mohawk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 58-40 fall against Wynford. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Royals are ranked 239th).

Seneca East's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Mohawk, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Seneca East came up short against Mohawk when the teams last played back in February, falling 55-45. Can Seneca East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
